Ballet Program

Keystone Ballet Academy offers classical ballet, tap and jazz classes. Our ballet technique training is based on Vaganova technique. We use a progressive syllabus, which allows every student to learn the fundamentals of classical dance, focusing on technique, grace, and strength while they improve at their own pace. All students learn proper technique in a positive and fun environment with easy-to-understand class instruction and individual corrective guidance.

Our tap and jazz classes are Broadway/Theater style allowing students to perform expressive dance numbers in our annual Spring Dance Concert..

The second level of beginner ballet continues to  build a strong foundation in both technique and vocabulary. Classes focus on combinations to develop memorizing movements and patterns. Spatial awareness is developed within the body and well as in relation to other dancers and the room. Additionally, these classes begin to incorporate the elements of musicality and artistry to keep the dancers engaged as they drill basic movements and are challenged with new steps.
