Yoga for Dancers

Yoga for Dancers will stretch and strengthen your body. Because stretching is an essential part of a dance lesson, yoga can be very beneficial to dancers. This class is for anyone interested in a yoga class as it will include a full range of yoga poses. All students work within their range of flexibility and modifications are given. Yoga can improve flexibility, confidence, balance, and body awareness. Yoga is intended to help relax and release stress and offers many health benefits that can improve well-being. Here is a list of additional health benefits that yoga provides:

Leggings or shorts and a tight fitting t-shirt or tank should be worn. No loose clothing. A personal yoga mat is required.
